Proposal of discourse analysis in-depth clinical interviews

Authors

Abstract

In this paper, we present a model critical analysis of discourse in educational research that uses a clinical interview as an instrument of data recollection. Our model combines several elements that allow a more exhaustive study of the discourses of the participants in case studies, although the model can be used in other types of research. The factors considered in our model are: relationship between text and context, discourse markers, meta-categories and categories from the analysis of content and grammatical resources. We also added etic and emic perspectives to compare the researcher's visions with the subject or subjects investigated.
