About the Journal

Focus and scope

Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública is a biannual scientific publication of the Faculty of Government of the Universidad de Chile, aimed at academics, researchers and social science professionals, as well as the general public  interested in these issues. Regarding its geographical scope, the journal range covers the Ibero-American area.

Its main objective is to contribute to a high-level academic debate through the dissemination of original and unpublished works, in the areas of government and institutions - in a multilevel perspective, which considers the local level, regional, national–, management and public policies Manuscripts that have been produced in the context of research projects and/or preferably results of empirical research based on an explicit methodology, will be positively valued (we do not publish theoretical essays).

Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública publishes articles in Spanish and English.
